Sweetest Day.

Today was my first Sweetest Day. I know it's not a big deal or anything, but I'm a hopeless romantic. (For those of you who don't know) So here's how it went. I invited Andrew over. I put a note on the door. In short form, it said put all of your stuff in the car, put on this blind fold, knock on the door, and don't ask questions. I didn't let him in, I just led him straight to the car. Then I drove making alot of turns. I wanted to throw him off. He's good at knowing where we are at by the turns. I took him to Oasis Painting Pottery Studio. Though know known as Creatopia. Together we picked paint colors and something to paint. We chose a Piggy Bank. We each got a side to paint. We decided on a bank because we want to start saving money. We are hoping to get married in a few years. And a wedding isn't going to happen without money saved up. Thus, the Piggy Bank idea. It takes a week to get fired, so when we pick it up, I'll put up a picture. Also, inconlusion to taking him there, I bought him a cool watch and made a few things for him. He was happy. He didn't know it was Sweetest Day until last night. So he didn't have much time, but he bought me flowers and chocolate. Which the chocolate came in handy today. lol. After that, we went to Pizza Hut for dinner. I was in the mood for pizza. Then we rented a few movies. All in all, I had a very nice day. Like I said, it was our first Sweetest Day, apart and together, so we tried to make it special. And it was.

I remember the first Sweetest Day I had with Jim. We still have the figurine I bought him that says "Our Time Is Now and Forever". We've been married for almost 34 years now. The pictures of you and Andrew are lovely. Best wishes. Connie Wilhoite
